5 Teacher Outfit Ideas

Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Can you believe that it’s already almost August?! We are getting all of our school shopping started and bet you are too! Today, I rounded up 5 Easy Teacher Outfit ideas! They would also be perfect if you are an office secretary, counselor or even if you’re a librarian! I also wanted to share some teacher wishlists with you today. Teacher budgets vary depending on several different things and if they are a new teacher than they do not have the years of resources gathered. I also like to donate at the beginning of the year to our education system as they are teaching our next generation of leaders. If you are like me, at the end of this post I added some back to school wish lists in case you would like to take a look and donate or even just send some encouragement their way as the school year begins.

Thank you so much for doing this! I’m going into my second year teaching first grade. I was fortunate enough to take time off from teaching last nine years to be with my kids at home. I’m a High School Culinary Arts teacher living in rural South West CO. We have a high population of special needs students that take my course offering them valuable life skills. We are 70%+ free and reduced lunch and as hungry as they are, my students often come to my classroom seeking basic needs of food, water and sanitary supplies. I like to be able to offer them a safe a reliable space amongst the chaos of high school life. I also teach them career readiness in the Hospitality Industry allowing them certifications to obtain a reliable job. Your kindness and generosity is so appreciated! -Kimberly

I’m currently a transitional kindergarten teacher. Our program at our preschool is a gift year to early 5 year olds to help better prepare them for kindergarten. We focus on literacy skills, social and emotional learning and art, dramatic play, and various gardening and stem projects. I love to make every day of learning magical and I love to celebrate holidays and decorate our classroom with various theme’s throughout the year which includes holidays, back to school, the 100th day, and orientation/open house. With the kids being so young they do require a lot of hands on materials which we use on daily basis and which my wish list reflects much of these things. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I truly appreciate it! -Kendall
