Happy Wednesday, my peeps! We are home after our little vacay and wow, it was a whirlwind trip. I must admit, I was not ready to come home yesterday, but despite our 5 hour flight delay (yes, I’m serious), we made it home late last night! I started the day bright and early with coffee, racing my tired kiddos to school, a quick photoshoot and driving 20 minutes each way to grab the dogs from the boarding facility! Thank God for Instacart, because at least the task of grocery shopping has been taken care of for me today!
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to style a bedroom using Shanty2Chic furniture at a local At Home store and it was SO FUN! Side note, do you have At Home where you live? I am obsessed! They have EVERYTHING!!! Anywho, my task was to design a bedroom using all At Home products and using Shanty2Chic brand furniture as my hero pieces for the room and do it quickly! Ashley and Whitney did such an amazing job with their At Home line that it was tough to decide what all to use, because I loved so much of it! That being said, I am truly obsessed with the outcome of my space and am considering doing a spin on this for our guest room. I loved it that much! And I was so excited to meet Ashley and Whitney and spend time with them! I’ve loved their blog for years! They are just fab!!!!
So, I started with a blank slate! It was just a HEADBOARD and a NIGHTSTAND, which I quickly switched out for these two CABINETS. I’m a huge fan of having larger cabinets as nightstands if the space allows it! This gives extra drawer and cabinet space for clothes, books, etc.
When we were touring the store before we began the design challenge, I saw this RUG and fell in love! I knew it would be the focal point of my space. The colors are amazing! Side note, I purchased this for my office. I can’t decide if I’m switching out the other one! I’ll show you guys on stories this weekend!
So, the challenge was to design the room in about an hour and a half! I was sweating, you guys! Lots of running around! It was seriously so fun! I loved all the different touches that At Home offers. I was able to do a whole room in just one store. Talk about a one stop shop! How amazing are those faux hydrangeas and that GOLD MIRROR!

Besides the other furniture, I knew I had to use these plug in chandeliers. I’m obsessed! A few design details! Like I said, the rug was my focal besides the furniture! I added the grey and white ticking sheets, a white quilt and lots of fun pillows to bring in the colors from the rug! I truly love how the space turned out! All the finishing touches just made it, if I do say so myself! 😉
Also! My friend Megan did this challenge as well! She designed a dining room. It turned out amazing! We were on opposite sides of the store and had no idea which products the other was using and we ended up using the same rug and bench! Loved that! It’s pretty neat to see the versatility in these pieces! Loved her space so much! Don’t you??

Oh my gosh, I’m obsessed with this room AND the dining room. Seriously wishing I could snap my fingers and redo my bedroom right now!! That rug is to die for!
I loved seeing this in stories and now as a post! Thanks for including both! I have a HomeSense and am embarrassed to say I haven’t been! I was waiting for the buzz/crowds to die down but now I think I might need to pop over when my little one goes to bed!

I love this bedroom you styled! I watched along on Instagram Stories, and it was fun to watch! I’ve never been to At Home, so now I need to get on their website and see where the nearest one is!! 🙂
