One of our favorite things to do is make cheese boards. They are really so simple and fun and you can make them fancy or super casual. The possibilities are endless! Whether it’s a date night at home or you’re having your friends over for a fun girls night, a cheese board has you covered and everyone is always excited about them. I saw this cheese board from Lulu & Georgia and thought it was perfection, especially if you struggle to know what you need on a cheese tray. The items I used on my fun girls’ night board is one of our more basic concepts, but one of our favorites: salami, smoked gouda, pears and some fig and olive crackers. Most of the time we add more than one type of cheese, but really you can do either. This tray was a simple app, so one cheese, one fruit, one meat and one type of cracker was sufficient. I usually add pistachios and/or almonds because they add a fun crunch and lets face it, pistachios are just so good! I can eat a bag myself…in one sitting. I always tell myself that it’s okay because they are a good fat! Ha! For this little cocktail shindig, I wanted to use my new gold cocktail glasses. I seriously love them and you might remember them from my bar cart post. I figured a fun little signature cocktail would be perfect for a fun girls get together. The thing that I love most about cheese boards is that they seem so complex and time consuming, but really, they are just SO easy!!

Orange St. Germain Fizz Cocktail Recipe

Fill each glass with ice.

Pour vodka over ice, about half fill. Finish off each glass with some blood orange Pelligrino.

Add a capful of St. Germain and garnish with a fresh orange.

Enjoy!
