Christmas Ideas and Traditions

Happy Thursday, peeps. I hope your week is going well! Our week has been a tad nuts…it’s always hard to get back into the swing of things after a week off, isn’t it?! My normally early bird kiddos have been sleeping in each day! I am sure they are both ready for the weekend too! I wanted to share a few of my favorite holiday ideas from Christmases past, with you today! Things that you might have forgotten about or just new ideas for you, if you’ve never seen these posts!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Cookies for Santa-We have made these cookie mixes in jars as gifts for years and they are always a big hit! If you want to make your own, there is also a free printable! Head HERE to see that post!

*Some stores are now selling already made jars, so if you’re not the DIY type, you can buy them HERE.

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls– Along with the Cookies for Santa jars, we also make cinnamon rolls each year to deliver to family and friends. I typically make about 18-20 pans of cinnamon rolls, freeze them and deliver them for people to bake and enjoy on Christmas morning. This has become a huge tradition around here and amongst family and friends. I still need to figure out how to send the frozen rolls back to California. They are pretty missed there from what I hear! Head HERE to see more details on that! Please note how much my babies have grown up since this post!

*I add napkins, plates and a little homemade card as well.

Deco Mesh on Christmas Tree- We have added deco mesh on our Christmas trees for as long as I can remember. It is such a beautiful addition to a tree. This is the first year that we didn’t use it. I have a video tutorial HERE for those of you that want to learn to do in on your trees!

Gifts for Siblings– Each year growing up, we would head to Target with cash in our pockets (thanks to mom!) and head down the aisles to shop for each other! I started this tradition with Teddy and Reagan, and just as it’s a cherished memory and tradition to me, it has become a cherished and favorite tradition to them. Head HERE to see the full post!
