Fall Shoes for Kids-Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Edition

Can you believe that we only have about a month left until the kiddos head back to school?!!

I can’t!

I received an email a week or so ago, reminding me that the kids at Teddy and Reagan’s school are ONLY allowed to wear tennis shoes! Ahhhh! That is such a tough one for us, as you might remember from this post right after we moved, so I’m glad they reminded us parents.

Reagan doesn’t wear tennis shoes. Ever. She pretty much lives in Mary Janes, Natives and Salt Water Sandals and rain boots, so I knew I needed to pick up a pair or two for her! Teddy also lives in Natives and flip-flops and rain boots, so he needs a new pair as well. Thankfully, this reminder email came around the time of the best sale of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Prices go up on August 4th and a lot of items are selling out or have limited quantities, so I wanted to be sure and scoop up some shoes asap for the little presidents!

I picked up this sparkly Puma pair for Reagan. I am hoping the glitter and pink will help her warm up to the fact that she has to wear them on school days! I think the shoe selection each morning will be a battle in the beginning with her, but hopefully the sparkles will help.

Luckily, Teddy is pretty used to the tennis shoes rule now. He will be rocking this pair of Puma kicks this fall and he’s pretty excited about them! He picked them out!
