Hi friends and happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! I am SO excited to share our finished family room with you, today! It’s been a long time coming and a super long process seeing it all come together. I actually started working on this room back in spring 2019. I just finally got in the last piece last week, so it was finally ready to be shared with you! When we moved into this house, this room was configured was differently. The room was perfect for lounging, but it was not ideal when we had company over. I just didn’t ever love the couch and chair situation in this house. So after lots of playing around, we finally came up with this configuration and we love it! It works very well for our family. I think ultimately, that is the key component to any room in your house. If it makes sense for your family, then the room is perfect. I’ll be back tomorrow to explain more of the room details and to show before and afters, but for now, take a peek at our family room, aka my favorite space in the house!

Hi Ashley, LOVE how the room turned out!! I’ve been following along as I love your style and was so excited for the official reveal today! I do have a question for you! We are in the process of moving and considering this exact couch. I love the look of it and that it is a slipcover! However, my husband’s one concern is that it is two cushions instead of one. Do you find that the cushions separate, leaving a gap in the middle of the couch at all? Would you say they can still sit 3 people comfortably or only 2? We have a large extended family that is over often and definitely need to maximize seating where we can! Thank you so much for your help!! 🙂
Hi! I have 3 of these couches in my house! I truly love them! We’ve had no issue with gaps, etc. It’s a normal couch size, so you could definitely fit 3 people if you wanted to! Hope that helps!! XO
