Happy Thursday, my peeps! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! Can you believe September is almost over? Today I am back with my promised monthly post! I will be doing a book review at the end of each month with the books I’ve read that month! I’ve been asked a lot how I have time to read. I typically read at night before bed. It helps me turn off my mind and I just seem to sleep better those nights. That being said, a few of these books caused me to stay up WAY later than usual, because I couldn’t put them down! Ha! I loved this month’s books! Here is my September book review and just a reminder, no spoilers, just a few reason why I liked each book and how the read was for me!

The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen– This was my favorite read of the month! IT WAS CRAZY GOOD! I couldn’t put it down! it was just completely shocking at moments!! There were so many plot twists that I literally couldn’t stop thinking about it and had to finish it in a couple days. Such a good read and again, the ending brought such a plot twist! I couldn’t even believe it! Just trust me on this one, it’s a good, quick read!
The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll– I’ll be honest, this book extremely tough for me to get into. I loved The Luckiest Girl Alive (also by this author), so I really wanted to like and push through this book. The first few chapters just drug on, but then I got into it and had to find out how it ended. There were so many twists and turns in the plot, that I just had to keep reading. All that to say, if you can stick with it through the first few chapters, it ends up being pretty good and the ending was crazy!
The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine– This book was another good one, but I’ll be honest, part one was tough to read in a way. There was so much deception, but it all made sense in part two. Again, the plot twists just kept me coming back for more and more and I just had to find out how it ended! Another crazy plot line, but a great read!
Joy Stealers by Rob Renfroe– Rob is one of the pastors at our church and a few months ago, he preached at our service and mentioned this book and it’s been on my list to read. I’ve dealt with a few heavy things lately, so I grabbed it out of my pile of books to read it. He talks about joy stealers and how we can overcome them. It was totally what I needed to read this week! The “worry” chapter totally resonated with me! If you deal with anxiety or stress at all, this is a good one!
