Five on Friday-Fancy Style

It’s a fabulous Friday so I am linking up with my gal pals for another Five on Friday!

Five on Friday One

Our week started off with packing up most of the house, besides bedrooms, family room and some of the kitchen. It’s so weird to be in our house with hardly any furniture. Well, it’s all weird in general. I can’t believe that we leave in one week. It’s just crazy how fast the time flew! Each day brings new emotions. One day I am at peace with going and the next day I am devastated again. Either way, we have one week left in this house and I’m trying to be positive about it all. I am looking forward to getting to the apartment and getting settled in for a few month stay there. It’s not going to be ideal, but hopefully we will feel at home there. My goal is to make it as comfortable as possible for all of us.

We rang in the new year by spending the day at my mom’s house! Teddy turns 5 at the end of this month and I had no idea how I would throw a party, where I would throw a party or who would even come and he has talked about a party nonstop for a few weeks now! I was stressing over what to do. My sweet sister threw him a little party in the middle of my mom’s chili cookoff on New Year’s Day and he had the best day ever! He was so surprised! We will still be celebrating big as usual, it just might not be the same kind of party he is used to!

We got to spend New Year’s Day with family and I just love watching the little presidents play with their cousins.  Their little relationships are the sweetest thing ever. IMG_2690

We had so much fun on New Year’s Eve! We dressed up and sang karaoke most of the night…oh how I love karaoke! I can sing a mean “hit me with your best shot!” My amazing friend Brooklyn made Reagan and me our sequin skirts and they are so fabulous! She is SO TALENTED! Let me know if you would like to order one and I will give you her contact info! I want a short one like Reagan’s next! LOVE! Also, My necklace can be purchased here! Hello fab Christmas gift from Mr. Fancy! And!!! I found the perfect black tee! This will be worn a lot for sure!!

We’ve had two photo sessions in the past week where Reagan has gagged on confetti. FANCY! I think it’s just a hazard of being the daughter of a confetti lover! Haha! Never a dull moment here, folks!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend! I have LOTS more packing to do, so, I think that’s mainly what my weekend will consist of! Well, that and a few cocktails of course!

Cheers to the weekend!

I’m so with you Meghan! I keep thinking that it would be so much easier if we were going directly into our new house…the temp housing is stressful because I have no idea what to bring and what we can live without! xoxo!
