five on friday link-up~fancy style

Hey there and happy Friday lovelies! It has been a longgggggg week in our fancy household. Do I say that every week? I think I might…Oh well. It hasn’t been a bad week, just long, not a lot of sleep, you know…the usual and I’m pooped!! I am ready and rearing for the weekend! I have never done a link-up before but my friend Darci over at The Good Life Blog, encouraged me to join in on their “five on Friday link-up” and it sounded like fun! I was excited to link-up and play along! Woohoo! Here we go!!!!

1. I am feeling very blessed that I got to have some really special one-on-one time with both of the little presidents this week. It’s pretty rare that I get to spend time with Teddy solo, so I really enjoyed a lunch date and some shopping with him this week. He seemed to really enjoy it as well! I asked Reagan what she wanted to do this week and she said “I get my toes done?!” How can I say no to that? I love how girly she is and how much she loves all the same stuff I love! We have too much fun together! Just feeling so happy and blessed. It’s such a good feeling.

2. We have family pictures this weekend on the beach. I usually stress and stress over the outfits and end up shopping frantically the day before because I can’t ever make up my mind. This year, it came so easy to me. I knew I wanted to wear this Lilly Pulitzer jumpsuit and had a couple sweet options already in Reagan’s closet for her and the boys were simple~linen shirts and khaki shorts. I am super excited to get some new pictures of the four of us. I am hoping for one where everyone is looking…if everyone is smiling, I’ll be ecstatic…and amazed. Ha! Here are a few of our pics from last year at the same time…Reagan has changed so much. I can’t even believe it that she turns 2 in about a week and a half. Seriously, someone hold me! I am not ready!

3.  I am in LOVE with anything tassel related! They are just so fancy and fabulous that I can’t stand it! This necklace is like so amaze! Dying for it! It’s on my wish list! I have a big birthday coming up and I am trying not to buy this kind of stuff! If it goes on sale though, all bets are off and I know I won’t be able to resist! Ha!

4. I have been listening to the soundtrack from “This is 40,” like non-stop this week! Loving it! I re-watched the movie the other night and had forgotten how much I love the music, so I bought the soundtrack and it’s so great! You should check it out! Ryan Adams’ songs are my fave on there! 🙂

5. We are celebrating Reagan’s 2nd birthday (a fiesta!) on July 13th and I still haven’t finished the invitations! We decided to do a really small party with just family and a few close friends (who are basically family), but I still planned to make these super cute invitations and I have totally dropped the ball. Hoping I can get some time to do them this weekend! The only thing that I have ordered are sugar cookies and a jumpy…two of my fave things. I have so many ideas that I should have started on weeks ago…but, this seems to be my thing this year, the last minute planning, that is…I started planning Teddy’s party 2 weeks prior and it was my fave party that I have thrown for him. Here’s hoping that my weekend is productive and I get moving on party planning. Here I am in my fab mini sombrero. Haha! I will be adding on some pom-poms of course!
