Happy Friday pretty people! I feel like this was the week that would never end. Wednesday felt like Thursday. You know those weeks…Anywho, I am excited for the weekend! I get a couple of days with my sweet fam and then I head back out on the road for another conference, which I am SO excited about!!! Since it’s another FAB Friday, I am linking up with all the girlies for Five on Friday(31 day series of Finding Peace topic, included!)! Woohoo!!!
Let’s do this!
As I mentioned, I am headed to a conference, Making Things Happen, this weekend and I can’t wait! I am so ready for this life-changing experience! I am rooming with my sweet friend, Jenny and I can’t wait to see her and a few other friends! This is a picture of us with Lara Casey, who runs MTH, at The Influence Conference last month! Woohoo! So excited for this!!!
Potty training is going okay. Honestly, I’m not a fan of potty training at all. But, we are doing it. She has good moments and bad moments, which is all part of it. As I wrote about on Wednesday, I am really trying to incorporate more peace into the situation and it seems to help a bit. I’m hoping she does well this weekend while I am away. Mr. Fancy will have his hands full for sure…maybe he can get her potty trained completely before I get back? A girl can dream, can’t she? 🙂
It’s no secret that I LOVE fashion and shopping. LOVE both. A LOT! I love to mix pricier pieces, that I call, investments, with more budget friendly pieces. This is one of my most recent budget friendly fancy finds and when I say budget friendly, I mean it! I am shocked at how inexpensive it was. I have a whole outfit planned around this sweatshirt and I can’t wait to jazz it up and put my own FANCY spin on it!! So fun!!!
I came across this investment pair of Kate Spade pumps this week and they are a MUST HAVE for moi. I mean, it’s me in shoe form! Love them and NEED them, like ASAP! Talk about a FANCY find!
I have struggled a bit this week with a “road block” of sorts. It’s EXTREMELY hard for me to find peace in situations like this. Especially because I’m in a rush and wish it would be resolved immediately. I spent a lot of time last night and into the wee hours this am, wondering why this couldn’t just be easier. Something that should be simple has been a huge struggle for all involved and I am frustrated. I think we all are. I read Jesus Calling before I got out of bed this am and of course, it spoke to me and I am feeling better about the situation. Trying to find Peace in HIS perfect timing is tough, but I feel a lot better after reading this and I am praying that it will all be resolved today. This 31 day series that I am doing about Finding Peace has really helped my heart, mind and soul. I have had a lot happen over the pst 18 days that I feel like would have come completely differently, if not for this series.
I hope you have a FAB-U-LOUS FRIDAY!! Make sure there are FANCY cocktails and some sort of glitter involved!
This is the 18th post in a series about Finding Peace. You can find all of the posts from this series, here.
