Happy Friday lovelies! I don’t know about you but I am SO ready for the weekend! We traveled home on Monday and it was not the easiest of travel days so I think it threw off my week a bit. I think a longggg travel day can do that to you! It’s friday so I am linking up with the fab girls for five on Friday! Here we go!

My little brother got engaged this past Monday! I am so very excited for them! Thrilled to gain another amazing sister! I could not be happier for them! Such an exciting time and I can’t wait for all the pre-wedding festivities to begin!
My house is an utter disaster. There is stuff everywhere. The product of a super busy month and just getting back from out of town. Some days, I wish I could get rid of all of it and just start over with hardly anything. I feel like we have accumulated so much “stuff” over the years. In an effort to procrastinate cleaning and unpacking, I cleaned my little kitchen desk off. It tends to be one of my catch-all areas (the other is my dining room table) and it was making me crazy. I think it looks pretty darn happy and organized right now. Hoping I can keep it like this. 🙂

I am daydreaming and planning a lot about our next house and came across this on Pinterest and feel like it’s mandatory that we have this in our next place. It’s pretty much genius. I go through so many cutting boards a day. Having one built-in would be ideal (why don’t they put those in houses these days?!) and even more amazing is that there is a hole that leads to the trashcan!
