Happy Friday lovelies! This was the longest week ever! Seriously! I’m always ready for the weekend but this week, I am SUPER ready for the weekend. It’s FRIDAY!!!!! Yay! We made it! I am linking up with the sweet and fabulous girlies, Darci, Natasha, April, Christina and the rest of you lovely ladies for another fun Five on Friday link-up! Such a fun day of the week!!! Shall we get this party started?! Let’s do it!
I am in LOVE with the idea of a copper farmhouse sink in the kitchen! Seriously in LOVE!!!!! They are in the same category as a bar cart for me, meaning, I NEED one in my next casa! How GORG is this sink and really this kitchen in general?!!! LOVE!!! That’s a lot of LOVE in the past couple sentences!
I’m a shorty so I take advantage of that fact and wear clothes from the girls section from time to time. I mean seriously, why not?! Sometimes the stuff in the girl section is just too cute to pass up! I wanted the heart jeans that they had at Anthro in the spring but never ended up purchasing them, so I was over the moon excited when I saw that Target had a pair in the girls section for fall. They are so stretchy and comfy and have an adjustable waist (meaning I can eat as many cheeseburgers as I want when wearing them!)…seriously, go try them on! Even if you are tall, you can sport them as capris! Trust me on this! (Ps “You Are Fabulous” mugs are now available for sale! Email me to order, if you need one for your FANCY morning coffee or tea!)
Reagan has been asking (on repeat this week and last) to go see Holly, the girl who does her mini mani/pedis. I always tell her that I can paint her nails and toes and she says “No! You take me see Holly!” We had some time to kill while Teddy was at school yesterday am, so we headed to Starbucks for a coffee date and then to get her little fingers and piggies painted! 🙂 She picked pink, purple, glitter and flowers. The girl knows what she wants! 🙂 She watches so intently to make sure they are doing the colors that she picked. Too cute! Oh and I can’t even stand the tutu. Love it too!
Teddy and I were craving something sweet (or maybe it was just me…but Teddy will never say no to anything cookie or peanut butter related) during nap-time yesterday…I have eaten awful this week, so the last thing I needed to do is bake cookies…but these 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies looked too easy and simple to skip! Mix together 1 cup of Peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar and an egg and bake at 350 degrees for about 10-20 minutes! Hello, FAST and EASY and DELISH recipe! They are gluten-free, so I’m pretending they are healthy! 🙂 I may have had them for dinner last night and again for breakfast this am. Peanut butter and coffee are the most perfect combo! Super simple recipe is from here!
It’s still hot here, but my casa is smelling like fall and I LOVE it! This is my fave fall scent by far! I am THRILLED that they came out with a larger candle this year because I went through more of the mini version, last fall and winter, than I care to admit! I promise you this pumpkin soufflé scent will not disappoint!
I hope your Friday is fabulous and that there are some yummy cocktails in your near future to kick off the weekend! I think a mojito or a fancy-ito will be happening this evening and I can’t wait! Cheers to Friday!
