Happy Friday lovelies! It’s a happy Friday indeed because it’s finally my birthday! I am off enjoying a mini vacay to celebrate, but still had to get my five on Friday post up because It’s such a fun day of the week and I love linking up with all the fab girlies!!

As I said earlier, today is the big 3-0 for moi! I am so very excited! I have been celebrating my birthday all month-long on the bloggity blog and on Instagram! It has been so much fun! Okay, have you tried this Vaseline Spray and Go amazingness?!! So, I can put my makeup on in 5 minutes but finding the time to apply lotion is another story! I’m usually racing out the door quickly and that’s the one thing that always gets put off or waits till the evening. So, fast forward to Monday, we headed home from my mom’s house and stopped by Chick-Fil-A and Chipotle to pick up lunch, a few minutes from home. We swam all weekend and my arms and legs were so dry and itchy from the chlorine despite the lotion I lathered on at my mom’s. Anywho, I had itched my legs a ton in the car and was standing in line at Chipotle and noticed a few women starring at my legs (side note: mind your own biz please) and I was thinking “what are they looking at?!” So, I looked down and realized they were so gray and dry and it was totally noticeable! Lotion intervention! Picked up this amazing Spray and Go at my precious Target and I love it. Now, I can go back to not offending people at Chipotle with my dry skin. Ha!
As I mentioned above, we were at my mom’s this past weekend and swam pretty much all day long. It was wonderful. This little diva totally cracks me up! No idea where she gets it from! Ha! 😉
The little presidents (and daddy) surprised me with a birthday party on Wednesday because we are out of town on my actual birthday! It was so much fun and they were all so proud! I feel so lucky and so blessed that this much thought was put into my birthday! So so blessed. Ps that’s a lot of gifts on that table. I can’t even believe it. My hubs surprised me with a 30 gifts for 30 like I surprised him with a 40 gifts for 40 back in April. He did an awesome job! Love all the decor and streamers too! 🙂
I’m so ready for fall. We hardly have seasons here. It kinda bums me out at times. Come September and October, I am craving crisp air and sweaters and boots. October is usually one of the hottest months here. Craziness. Anywho, this salted caramel pumpkin buttercream frosted pumpkin bread (say that fives times really fast!) looks ahhhmazing! I mean, really ahhhmazing! Who is coming over for a coffee date, if I make this? If I have no one to share with, I could totally see myself eating this whole loaf! Hurry up fall weather! I’m ready for you! So are my sweaters and boots!
