Four Outfits to Wear to a Brunch

This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. I love partnering with brands that I love and trust. Post ideas and opinions are my own.

Hi friends and happy Wednesday! I hope you week is off to a great start! We are in the final stretch for school and the kids are officially out for summer at the end of May! Spring and summer just scream brunch weather to me! I just love throwing together an easy and simple brunch for a friend or two! It doesn’t have to be an extravagant affair. You can easily make a few little dishes, mimosas (or some signature drink) and add some store-bought flowers and you are set! What to wear to a brunch is always a hot topic around this time of year. I think so many people throw brunches and are invited to brunches in the spring and summer. I love to checkout the dress, skirt and jumpsuit collections from Nordstrom to get me brunch ready! As always, I love the fact that I can find numerous items for me and the whole family while shopping online at Nordstrom. An added bonus is when I am able to shop online and grab my items in store. This is such a huge time saver for those of us that want to do our shopping while watching tv, etc! I ordered a couple of these brunch items at 10pm one night and by 11am the next day, I was able to pick up my order…including a few items that I grabbed as Mother’s Day gifts! It’s such an amazing and efficient feature that Nordstrom offers! Take a peek at these quick and easy steps to host a last minute brunch and what to wear to brunch!

Tie Front Dress

I love a great tie front dress. This one issuer flattering and really just an easy dress to wear to a brunch, a lunch or dress it down and wear it to the beach or pool with flip flops!

Brunch tip:

I love to grab a bouquet of flowers at the grocery store and throw it into a vase. It’s an easy and impactful thing to add to any brunch or even just a great way to add colorful blooms to your home on a regular basis. This is also a great hostess gift if you are invited to a party. You can typically grab an inexpensive bouquet and make it look like a pricey arrangement, just by arranging it perfectly into a vase!

The Skirt and Tee

As you know, I love to mix and match patterns and mixing floral with stripes is one of my favorite things to do! This skirt and top combo is really perfection for brunch or any spring/summer gathering!

Brunch Tip:

Need a quick and easy and cute brunch dish? Grab a box of mini pancakes, add fruit and some powdered sugar and you have a cute little brunch dish! We added blueberries and pomegranate seeds to ours!

Seersucker Jumpsuit

This little jumpsuit was too cute to pass up! I couldn’t resit the ruffled straps! My photographer said the straps reminded her of hydrangeas and I mean, I love that and totally agree! How much more spring and summer can you get that ruffles and seersucker?! *I recommend sizing up in this one!

Brunch Tip:

Make a signature cocktail or beverage! This brunch included a pineapple orange mimosa! It is a delicious and different spin on the usual brunch cocktail, the mimosa! But, adding a bit of pineapple juice just jazzed up the drink a bit!

The Wrap Dress

This cute little dress comes in numerous print and color options! I feel like everyone needs one of these in their closet! This lavender print with roses just screamed summer to me! I love this one!

Brunch Tip:

You can easily throw together a quick and easy brunch with minimal trips to the store and minimal effort! Keep it simple and do flowers, drinks and a recipe or two! Brunch should be fun, low-key and easy to throw together! I hope these brunch tips have helped give you some easy and impactful ideas for your next get-together!
