Hi friends and happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Ours was great! The weather was amazing and we spent a lot of the weekend tackling things on our to do list, after the kids’ soccer game! I ended up decorating my living room tree and while I am always loving new ideas, this tree is one of my favorites and I didn’t want to change it much this year. I always get questions about how I decorate my trees, what was used and where to buy the goodies! Seeing as most of these items are things I’ve collected for years, it’s hard to source them exactly, but I did my best to find lots of similar items so that you recreate this tree look in your own home! My number one tip? Fill the tree to the BRIM! I stuff the trees full of all the things and I love how they end up looking!
I love to add things like tin houses, signs, garlands, banners, etc! The more the merrier! You can’t go wrong by adding lots of fun items!
I love to add ribbon…just start at the top and tuck behind branches on the way down.
Anything goes! It’s your tree! If you love it and the way it looks, then thats all that matters!
