Homework Helpers via Facebook Marketplace

Hi friends and happy Thursday!! School is back in session here! Teddy and Reagan started school on Tuesday and can I just say, I am ready for the weekend! Fourth and third grade are a lot more intense in the homework department. Did you know they expect the kids to do their math homework on a computer, be able to research projects, etc! My how things have changed! Does this make me sound old to say that? Ha! I was so thrilled to learn about Facebook Marketplace recently. Have you heard of it? Have you used it? This was my first experience and I must admit, I wish I had tried it sooner! It’s so neat that I am able to purchase things from stores on Facebook Marketplace like Apple computers (refurbished option, too!), as well as new items like these headphones and even Amazon Echo Dots! They actually have a whole back to school section where you can grab things from notebooks to backpacks (for all ages) to laptops to tvs (for those college kiddos). Marketplace makes it easy to track orders from my phone and everything ships pretty quickly and will be delivered right to your door! It’s pretty amazing that you can stock up on lots of back to school goodness, all without ever leaving this social media platform.

After speaking with teachers and hearing the expectations for the year, we decided to create a dedicated space with a computer that is dedicated to homework and any extra school stuff. So, I love the fact that I could easily grab all of our favorite homework helpers at a great deal on Facebook Marketplace. Computers, along with headphones (because you know how loud some of those online educational programs can be. Ha!) are easy to find! They offer all sorts of brands from Apple to Lenovo! I’m so excited to have this dedicated workspace where Teddy and Reagan can work on homework, separately or together! I think it’s going to be a great school year!! Third and fourth grade, here we come!!

Amazon Echo Dot

We also love the Echo Dot as a homework helper. Let’s face it, sometimes there are questions that Mom doesn’t know the answer to. Thanks for the backup, Alexa! The kids also love to listen to music while they work on things and if you’re working on hard things, ask Alexa to tell you a joke! She is full of funny stuff and the jokes are hilarious! Homework is often not my kids’ favorite, so I love the way this feature can lighten the mood a bit!!
