Well, the time has come again! It’s time to pick Christmas cards! I absolutely LOVE the art of sending and receiving cards during the holiday season. I always turn to Minted for cards and stationary and lots of other paper goods! It’s always so tough for me to chose a card because they have SO many amazing options. A few tips for family photos:
-Coordinate! I cannot stress the importance of this. You don’t need to be matchy-matchy, but do make sure you have a theme going on.
-Chose your card before your family photo session. Email/tell your photog what kind of a photo you are hoping to get to fit the card. This makes life so much easier once you receive your pictures back from the photographer.
-If your kids have a “thing,” let them wear it or hold it. I always let my kids wear their rain boots. They have been wearing boots as much as possible since they could walk. It’s their thing. I want people to see who they really are in our cards and I think it’ll be fun too look back on these photos someday and remember all their “things” from each year. Reagan’s lovie, my third child, Boo, always makes the photos as well. He’s a big part of our family, so naturally, he should be a part of our family pictures!
