My Travel Day Essentials

Hi friends and happy Thursday! I hope you had the best Christmas ever! I feel so grateful for my little tribe of four and truthfuly love watching the magic Christmas through their eyes! Teddy was up at 5am for the day and I am so aware that I am going to miss those days once they get older! We spent the day setting up new toys, playing and then Mr. Fancy and I cooked our traditional Christmas dinner of beef tenderloin and all the sides! It was delicious! My mind is on 2019 now and goals and things I’d like to do and one of them is to travel more. When Nordstrom asked me to partner on todays post to share my travel day essentials, I was so excited and felt like it was the best timing! I have perfected my travel attire over the years, right down to the accessories! There are usually two looks that I switch between, but one thing is certain, I am always comfortable. Comfort is key, especially for those longer travel days. A perk of grabbing your travel essentials at Nordstrom– you can buy your items online and select the “in store pickup” option. This is such an awesome option, especially if you are like me and sometimes wait until the last minute to pack and realize the items you still need! I’ve been known to use this tool numerous times before we head out on a trip!

My first travel look is one of my faves! I love to wear a cozy and comfy JUMPSUIT, especially on the longer travel days! I always travel with my trusty DENIM JACKET. No matter where I am traveling, you will always fine me with a denim jacket in tow! I am always freezing, especially on planes, so I always have some sort of a jacket or sweater. Often times, I will wear a HAT instead of packing it. There are ways to pack hats to have them keep their shape, but most times, I don’t want to risk it and I just wear it! These ESPADRILLES are my new obsession. I will be honest, I ordered a less expensive pair in hopes that they would be just as comfortable as these, but they just didn’t compare. These are seriously so comfortable and the perfect travel, beach, spring and summer SHOE! I am obsessed.  This TOTE BAG is one of these best! I’ve had it for about 3-4 years now and it’s just the best bag! I even use it as a purse some days and it would also make a great diaper bag, too! It’s such a great shape and can fit all the things, which makes it the perfect travel bag! Take a peek at my tropical destination travel look!
