Hi friends! Popping back in to share the inspiration behind Teddy’s bathroom. In the midst of our bathroom renovations, I’ve shared Reagan’s bathroom and now Teddy’s. The guest bathroom inspiration will come next week! A little background on Teddy’s bathroom, I wanted to really make this space pop with a fun, but masculine theme. I’ve always wanted to do a colored vanity and thought this was the perfect opportunity to do it! Teddy loves green and we knew this vanity would be perfection! It’s definitely not as bright and more of a sage green in person, so just keep that in mind. He wanted to keep his bathtub/shower, so we just decided to update the tile to a classic white subway tile (my favorite) and matte black fixtures. We also decided to add a shower door. One of the main driving forces behind this bathroom renovation was the fact that we couldn’t seem to keep a shower curtain up, so we needed a door! I fell in love with these grided shower doors and just loved the look. Besides the vanity, that was my main focal point of the space! I wanted to use the black and white tile on the floor because again, I’ve always loved it, but I’ve never had a space to use it in! I brought in all matte black fixtures to accompany the shower door. The tile will be grouted with white as opposed to my normal grey. I didn’t want the grout and door to compete! As I type this, his floor is almost finished and his vanity and toilet will go in tomorrow! I can’t wait to show you the finished product, but for now, take a peek at the mood board for Teddy’s bathroom!
