Hi guys! I hope you’re doing well! I am so excited about my current home project! We recently decided to add locker doors to our laundry room lockers and I am loving it! I was just tired of seeing the kids junk all over the laundry room. Now, as long as it’s behind the closed locker door, I am happy. I have always wanted to paint either Mr. Fancy’s office or the laundry room cabinets, with navy blue paint and since we added the locker doors, I decided to do it! It’s finally getting painted this week and I can’t wait to see the finished product! I have been getting so many questions about which colors we were deciding between. I had five paint colors that we were looking at and then I narrowed it down to three because I knew I didn’t need to buy five pints of paint! Ha! Especially because I thought I knew which color and I’d choose and after painting the doors with the samples, we ended up picking the color that I thought I would pick! Take a peek at my favorite navy paint colors!

My favorite navy paint colors
Old Navy- This is my favorite and what we decided to go with! You all know me pretty well because in the Instagram poll, over 75% off your voted that this is what I picked. We were looking for more of a traditional navy, but not too dark and not too light, this Old Navy color is perfection in my book!
Hale Navy- I got a lot of messages telling me that this is the best navy! I think it really depends on what you’re going for. It’s actually super dark and in some lights can almost look black, to dark grey. It’s pretty, but not really the look we were going for in this space. If you’re looking for a moody, dark navy, I think this would be a great option!
Newburyport Blue- I loved this color, too! But, it is a lot more gray blue and lighter than we wanted. But if youre looking for a lighter, more blue navy, this color is a great option.
Kensington Blue- This so pretty, too and reminded me of the Newburyport Blue- just a tad darker.
Gentlemen’s Gray- This one was pretty, but almost has more of a teal tone to it with gray. It’s also a pretty, lighter navy option.
I’m a huge believer in trying a color or two (or three) to see how it looks with the lighting in that space. Painting the samples on the locker doors, really helped us narrow down our choices and ultimately pick one!
