When moving into a new house, my first instinct is “get everything done as soon as possible.” This is rarely possible and actually I have learned to enjoy the lengthy process. I only have a few rooms left in this house and while I am anxious to finish them, I am savoring the process as well. The next room on my list is our TV room. When we started looking at homes in Texas, we noticed that lots of homes are built with media rooms. Most homes we looked at had their media rooms set up like movie theaters, with theater chairs, etc. While that look is awesome, I knew I wanted our TV room to be more of a cozy den type TV room, rather than theater. It’s right off of the playroom, so it’s a major hangout for the little presidents. It’s where they watch TV and movies and play video games (ahem Teddy) and where Mr. Fancy and I watch most of TV shows and movies, so coziness is key. The time has come to finish this room and the project is in full swing! I am excited to share the process with you!
Here is the start of my inspiration for the TV room:
Media Cabinet // Nesting Tables // Faux Fur Throw // Seagrass Basket // Ottoman // Frame // Bottle Vase // Candle // Side Table // Faux Fur Pillow // Tray // Media Cabinet
I will be back soon with more details on this room! Fabrics, lighting and accessories, oh my! I can’t wait to see it all come together!
Do you have any specific rooms in your house that need redoing? If so, which rooms?
Happy Monday, friends! XOXO!

I love a good home décor post! We actually need to star from the ground up in our new house! I am holding out on buying anything until I can do the entire room in a span of two weeks. Ha! Lofty goal, I know! I don’t have an eye for design so I like to go in place, find a set up I like, and literally just buy everything they have displayed ha!
