Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Can you believe that it’s already August?! We are getting all of our school shopping finalized and bet you are too! You all loved the Amazon Teacher Capsule Wardrobe post so much that I rounded up 10 more Easy Teacher Outfits! They would also be perfect if you are an office secretary, counselor or even if you’re a librarian! Teacher budgets vary depending on where they and if they are a new teacher than they do not have the years of resources gathered. I also like to donate at the beginning of the year to our education system as they are teaching our next generation of leaders. If you are like me, at the end of this post I added some back to school wish lists in case you would like to take a look and donate or even just send some encouragement their way as the school year begins.

I had some requests to share teacher wish lists and wanted to share them with you! Whether they are a new teacher, switching grades or been teaching for years there is always a need for more supplies. If you are able to give they would be forever grateful, even if you’re just giving words of encouragement! Please see their stories and their lists below and let’s get these lists cleared! 🙂
I am an elementary school librarian in Fairfax, VA who serves over 900 students in grades Preschool-Sixth Grade. We are a very diverse community with over 50 different languages spoken. Over 25% of our students are free and reduced. We also have a very high mobility rate. This means that a lot our students move around. When we knew we were closing in March 2020 for what we thought was a few weeks we stocked the students up with books to read. Unfortunately, we did not return to our building until January 2021 and even then only 50% opted to return to in person. During this time we lost over 1,000 books. Students misplaced them, families moved, life happened. I would love to welcome our students back to the school and library with replacements and new books.

I am hoping to add some more diversity to my classroom library as well as some grade level math games. Thanks for considering a bit of assistance in making this a wonderful school year for my students!

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in three Denver Public Schools for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. I work with students who have speech and language disorders and I service two center-based programs for students with significant support needs. I absolutely adore my job and the students I get to work with. Speech-Language Pathologists do not receive funding to purchase therapy materials, and therefore end up spending significant portions of their own money to buy items needed for a variety of learning levels. Thank you for considering supporting a school-based SLP!

Hi! My name is Paxton and this will be my first year teaching second grade! I’m super excited for this change, but I’ve typically taught older kiddos so I’m looking to add a few fun things to my classroom that will be better for the younger age group I’m going to be teaching this year.

I am a teacher in a low income school in southern West Virginia for a self contained autism classroom. Right now I currently have 6 boys and 4 being nonverbal. So I have a lot of lower level students that require all laminated activities and it gets very expensive throughout the school year and on top of that my laminator broke last year and now I have to buy a new one. I really do appreciate any help that you could do for me or any other teachers! We love our jobs and our students! View The Wishlist
