Hi friends and happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! We had a little spur of the moment trip last week and now I am playing catch up this week! I’m super excited to be back with Erika for this month’s Tuesday Talk! We are actually doing this month’s linkup a week early due to travel. Speaking of travel, I’ve been traveling quite a bit this year and it’s been so much fun! Back in February, we celebrated one of my best friends turning forty and while we were there, we decided to plan a fun girls weekend for May! We met in one of my favorite places, Scottsdale and I’ve had so many requests to share details of my recent trips there, so this felt like the perfect topic for today’s Tuesday Talk post!
So, a little backstory on the friends that I went on this weekend trip with, because it’s kind of a neat little story…I have been friends with Amber for over 10 years. I met her when I lived in San Diego and I was on a walk and she was working in her yard and I stopped to talk to her and the rest is history. She is one of my best friends and our husbands are friends and kids are friends. It really is the best and we miss living across the street from them!! So much!! So, Tracy, (my other friend that I met up with) is Amber’s best friend from growing up and while we had met once before, years ago, it was only for a quick lunch and we didn’t get much time together. Well, we finally got an opportunity to hang for a weekend at Amber’s 40th and again, the rest is history and we were fast friends! So, we planned this trip to one of my favorite places, The J.W. Marriott Camelback Inn and we had the best time!! It was seriously SO much fun and we laughed, we cried, we caught up and we are already planning the next girls weekend!! I left feeling rejuvenated and so grateful to have these friends! Take a peek at our weekend in Scottsdale!

Day One
We met up at the hotel and headed straight for lunch at the spa pool, the proceeded to chill and cocktail and catchup, the rest of the afternoon.

Night One
We opted to cancel our reservation and just eat at the hotel restaurant, Rita’s our first night. We literally threw on coverups and headed down for dinner. It was easy and that restaurant is always delicious.

Day Two
The next day, we headed back up to the spa for breakfast, treatments and more hang time. I don’t think any of us realized how much we just needed a few days to just sit. It was so nice!
