Hi Friends! Happy weekend! I wanted to share the Adopt a Family wishlists with you here. I also received a few GoFundMe pages that I am adding in because the needs of those families were more monetary than we could help with via an Amazon wishlist.
A little backstory on this. My friend, Liz did this on her Instagram page and I thought this was an awesome way to bring us together as a community. I wish we could all get together and volunteer, but since we are all located all over the place, I loved this idea as a way to bring us together to help others in need this holiday season!
We have two families that we can help via an Amazon wishlist. They’ve created wishlists with items that they could use this holiday season. When you add these items to your cart, it should give you the option to send these items directly to the recipient. If you feel called to do so, please join me in blessing these families this holiday season! Here they are!
Family Number One

“I have the perfect family. She is a single mom that recently got out of an abusive relationship. She had three adorable daughters and works at a children’s hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan as a patient care tech in the recover room. She has some pretty big medical issues of her own she is dealing with along with raising her three young girls on her own with no child support or help from family because her dad is deceased and her mother lives out of state. She could not afford to pick up and move closer to them. Her transportation is older and unreliable as well. She is the sweetest thing and I would love to see her give her girls the world and also get something too! I give her things when I can and she’s always so appreciative of anything I give her. This would make her year and hopefully turn her past unfortunate life circumstances into a distant memory. She deserves this more than anyone I know!”

“My friend, Meghan, is a mom to 3 adorable boys under 4 years old. Her youngest, almost 6 month old Brooks, was born with a congenital heart defect. In one week, he will have his second of three surgeries to correct his defect. Meghan’s resilience through this season of life is so admirable. Brooks has been in and out of the hospital and many days they are quarantined to their house to keep the germs away from Brooks’ weakened immune system. Despite all this, Meghan has showed up for her family in every way possible. They will be spending their Christmas in the hospital as Brooks recovers from his surgery. A special Christmas is just what they need! Please help to love on this family during the difficult and stressful time.”
